In this highly visible sales role, you will identify, pursue, and close strategic opportunities while building long-term customer relationships that support profitable growth.</p><p>The ideal candidate brings a strong background in parcel, eCommerce, or logistics sales, excels at managing complex sales cycles, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where winning new business is the primary focus.</p><p>What You'll Do</p><p>Prospecting & Pipeline Generation</p><ul><li>Build and manage a qualified pipeline of high-value prospective customers within the assigned territory/target segment.</li><li>Conduct proactive prospecting through outbound outreach, referrals, industry networking, and lead follow-up activities.</li><li>Qualify opportunities based on strategic fit, profitability potential, and implementation feasibility.</li><li>Develop and execute sales strategies designed to maximize revenue and drive market penetration.</li><li>Identify and secure new business opportunities to support sustainable growth.</li></ul><p>Market Development</p><ul><li>Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover growth opportunities.</li><li>Support business development initiatives and strategic partnerships that strengthen DHL's market position.</li><li>Establish and maintain relationships with cross-business units, third-party vendors, and other partners to support sales efforts.</li></ul><p>Opportunity Management & Deal Architecture</p><ul><li>Assess customer business needs and develop commercially viable DHL solutions.</li><li>Architect deal structures that align customer requirements with operational feasibility and DHL's business objectives.</li><li>Lead pricing discussions and contract negotiations with a focus on growth, profitability, and long-term value.</li><li>Build relationships with key stakeholders, including senior decision-makers within customer organizations.</li><li>Partner with internal teams including Pricing, Operations, Implementation, and other support functions to advance opportunities through the sales cycle.</li><li>Conduct customer presentations and facility tours showcasing DHL eCommerce capabilities and value propositions.</li></ul><p>Closing & Account Transition</p><ul><li>Successfully close new business opportunities and document customer commitments.</li><li>Ensure smooth transition of newly won accounts to Key Account Managers and Implementation teams, including solution scope, pricing assumptions, customer objectives, and identified risks.</li></ul><p>Performance & Reporting</p><ul><li>Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and opportunity tracking.</li><li>Monitor conversion rates and forecast accuracy against growth objectives.</li><li>Document customer requirements, pricing assumptions, and opportunity details within CRM and reporting tools.</li></ul><p>Cross-Functional Collaboration</p><ul><li>Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Client Relationship Managers, and Implementation Managers to support successful customer acquisition and onboarding.</li><li>Provide insights and recommendations to sales leadership regarding market trends and growth opportunities.</li><li>Continuously develop sales skills, negotiation capabilities, and financial acumen through training and collaborative selling opportunities.</li></ul><p>What You'll Bring</p><p>Required Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.</li><li>7+ years of sales experience managing and developing customer accounts.</li><li>Experience within the parcel, eCommerce, and logistics industry required.</li><li>Experience using sales activity reporting software preferred.</li></ul><p>Skills & Competencies</p><ul><li>Proven success in pipeline management, new business acquisition, and complex sales cycles.</li><li>Strong negotiation, planning, and organizational skills.</li><li>Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication abilities.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.</li><li>Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and perform in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.</li></ul><p>Additional Information</p><ul><li>Travel required as needed, up to 30%.</li><li>Ability to work a range of shifts based on operational needs, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>Requires low physical activity;
