Seeking Art Teacher for Light, Part-Time Work
Over the past two years, we’ve proudly delivered art classes to over 1500+ young artists throughout Chicago, ranging in ages from 20 months - 8th grade. And what an exciting journey it has been. We hope to double that amount next year and beyond and continue to spread joyful arty moments to our young artists.
Join an enthusiastic team of people who are passionate about teaching art and inspiring creativity and imagination in children. Retired and substitute teachers searching for a part-time teaching opportunity are strongly encouraged to apply! We are a mobile art business! Access to reliable transportation is necessary; job requires travel within the Westside Chicago area, specifically Garfield Park, North Lawndale, Austin, etc.
The Opportunity:
Apply your collaborative, classroom management and leadership skills
Complete curriculum is provided so no lesson-planning necessary!
All lessons written by a team of educators
Help to develop children ages 5- 14 yrs
Flexible, part-time hours – afterschool hours from 3:00-6pm on M-F (One hour a day; up to 3 hours a week)
Training provided, paid
Competitive pay- make up to $90 per week.
Requirements:
· Classroom management experience
· Access to reliable transportation to West Side of Chicago (Garfield Park, North Lawndale, Austin.
· Ability to pass background checks
. Ability to complete CFS 602 Medical Report on an Adult in a Child Care Facility
· Ability to follow a system
· 3 verifiable, professional references
· Ability to work from 4-6pm on M-F (One hour a day; up to 3 hours a week)
